Kate and The Aussie Hands Foundation
In September 2007, Kate Doughty was appointed as the Foundation's Patron to represent Aussie Hands in future events and be a mentor and inspiration to young members. Kate has a hand difference.
Kate is currently completing a Postgraduate Studies in Psychology at Deakin University, working at the Victorian Institute of Sport and is a scholarship holder for Equestrian at the Victorian Institute of Sport.
Kate trains 5 to 6 days a week in dressage and is on the National Squad for dressage and is currently preparing for qualifiers for the World Championships in Kentucky, USA next year, and then, hopefully a selection for the Olympic Games 2012 in London.
